Why I am taking this class...

I am a politics major, who takes mostly politics, economics and history courses... so taking a cell phone photography class was a completely unexpected decision for me. I am a huge fan on instagram and pinterest and found the idea of making images similar to those myself very appealing. In this class I hope to explore my creative side a little bit more than my usual academic schedule allows me to. With the cell phone becoming more and more important in society, most people carry their phone with them all the time, because of this everyone has a camera on them constantly. I enjoy taking photo's of my daily life and being able to share them with friends and family and hope to explore new and more efficient ways to do that.
